Wang Qishan visited the West Bank on Tuesday where he meet up with Rami Hamdallah Palestinian Prime Minister. Touring Bethlehem Nativity Church, and placing a wreath at the tomb of Yasser Arafat.

Later on he met up with Reuven Rivlin, Israel President in Jerusalem.
Wang’s trip to Israel solidified the strong ties between the two countries. They have become close trade partners, with China showing interest in Israel developments in agriculture, water, and environmental technologies.
Wang is one of the most senior Chinese officials to visit Israel since the establishing of diplomatic relations in 1992.
